A Brainerd Tradition Since 1920

THE BEGINNING
During the year 1920, three Anderson brothers started a dry cleaning, tailoring and hat refurbishing business with script on Laurel street.

The brothers went their separate ways, and Fred, along with son Everett, began the city's cleaning tradition at its present location.

REMODELING

During the first years, a small room in the front of the house was used for sorting, pressing, bagging and customer service with the cleaning done in the basement. The family living quarters were in the remaining part of the house until progress initiated expanding the business area into the entire house.

TODAY
Everett's daughter Rosemary and her husband Jerry Feriancek carry on the family tradition. The latest dry cleaning innovations and generation to generation procedures have given the Brainerd lakes area residents the service they desire. The skilled technical staff specializes in cleaning high value garments that other cleaners are unable to process.

All garments are inspected, carefully cleaned, spotted and pressed. All garments are treated as if they are personally owned with the entire process done on premise. There are also 10 satellite locations to meet the needs of the surrounding Brainerd lakes area.

Anderson Cleaners is a state-of-the-art cleaning facility with an environmentally friendly atmosphere. Jerry is a member of an elite group of cleaners in Minnesota that are certified through national guideline testing giving him the title of Certified Environmental Drycleaner.
